My Favorite Summer Themed Crime TV Series

Sorry for not being around lately. After waiting for my new internet package for more than month and fixing the laptop after my dad accidentally spilled water on it, it's good to be back. Many reviews are waiting to be written, but today I decided to talk about something easier, like summer vacations and mystery tv shows. Every summer the local tv stations are filling the program with summer themed tv shows, most of them filmed on exotic islands. Some of them include mysteries, some include murders, but they all include out of ordinary detectives. And they are all filmed on exotic locations. I like most of these shows, they are humorous, mysterious, perfect for chilling out if you are not on the beach. So here are some of my favorites:

Book Review: We Shall Inherit the Wind (Varg Veum #1) by Gunnar Staalesen

Not so long time ago, I watched tv series that I really liked with the main character, Varg Veum. I had no idea that those series were made after book series. I recently bought a book from the Nordic noir section, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the main character was a private investigator named Varg Veum.I am a great fan of Scandinavian crime noir and shame on me, I haven't read anything from Gunnar Staalensen before. This is my first book from this author, but certainly won't be the last.

My favorite crime drama tv shows

One of my favorite television shows that involves crime in it is Castle. Even after 8 seasons, it doesn't get boring. The dynamic duo of Castle and Bennet is getting even better and better. I really love them as a couple. It all started when a murder was committed inspired by the book written by the crime writer Richard Castle and detective Kate Becket was in charge for the case. Soon Richard Castle became police consultant and "the partnership in crime" was born.

 

 If you are a fan of Castle, you simply can not ignore Bones. Another dynamic duo, Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan and Special agent Seeley Booth. They are absolutely amazing. The show is full of interesting criminal cases and characters and after 11 seasons I still can't get enough of it.
